1-1-1 Wisdom Wednesdays: Forgiveness
by Dr. Cam

Welcome to 1-1-1 Wisdom Wednesdays on my side. This is where I provide you with one quote, one idea, & one question to consider to inspire you to keep moving towards your goals in living a happier, healthier life.

1 – Idea

Most people view the world as this…

We live in a dangerous world of hurt and comparison. Where people are quick to talk bad about one another, and not edify. Where people will intentionally or unintentionally hurt us and not do anything about it. No apology, nothing.

Here is how I am learning to view the world…

People cannot hurt me, things cannot stand in my way, and the entire world is for me…

If I forgive.

And this not only includes forgiving other people for their wrongs toward you (even if they never apologize), but forgiving yourself.

Believe it or not I was young and dumb once, and I was not the perfect human being. No one is. However I have learned not only from other peoples wrong doings toward me, but mine towards myself as well.

That is why I believe Jesus was so compassionate towards people… Because He knew that the second a person realizes that he is not perfect, and that no one around him/her is, this is the moment that their lives change to express more righteousness in their life.

The idea here is this…

Start every day fresh. This includes marriage, work, children, etc. Try not to go to bed angry or upset with anyone. Learn to constantly forgive people for what you perceived they did wrong, or what they actually did wrong. In doing this, no one can ever hurt you, including yourself.

1 – Quote

“Forgiveness does not change the past, but it can enlarge the future” – Paul Boose

1 – Quote

What are some ways you can forgive yourself and others?

As always, I pray you find value in God and in yourself through Him. I’m here to help.

In health and happiness,

Dr. Cam
